Hope's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
We have created a team of committed friends and family to partner with me on this journey. Together, we have set a fundraising goal of $50,000! The money raised helps LLS, the largest nonprofit dedicated to creating a world without blood cancers, fund research to advance lifesaving treatments, drive advocacy for policies that protect patient access to these treatments, and provide patients and families with hope, guidance, education and support. Our candidate team is particularly passionate about providing hope to those in need and will be representing this area of LLS during our campaign.
We have seen loved ones impacted by cancer and want to show support in any way that we can. Like this year’s Student Visionaries of the Year Honored Hero and Rita’s cousin, Zailynn Glenn. Zailynn was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 2 years old. She is now 4 and still going through treatments. It’s her and patients like her that we are fighting for in this campaign.
As a team, we are dedicated to the cause of providing help to those struggling with blood cancer. It is really important to us that all funds raised go to funding treatments and supporting families through illness. We want to make a difference in the lives of blood cancer patients. Our campaign will provide support to the critical work of LLS in hopes that one day no one will have to grow up without the ones they love. We know that with your help, we can reach our goal and make a direct impact in the fight against blood cancers.

Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!

We're donating in honor of our daughter's mother in law who was diagnosed last spring and about to undergo her stem cell transplant. Also to support Rita, our other daughter's niece.
